Remarks
about using and storing V-belt
1. Before installation, first reduce the tread of belt wheel,
properly strain it after installatin, be sure not to forcedly
pull. After using V-belt for sometime, if drawn out, suitably
adjust the central distance of belt wheel to make sure of
axes of belt wheel paralleled.
2. The speed rate of driver and driven wheel: max. rate of
common V-belt 1:10; narrow V-belt 1:20. Max.line speed of
common V-belt: 25m/s; max.line speed of narrow V-belt: 40-50m£¯s.
3. It is the idealest that the central distance of belt wheel
equals 1.5 times of summation of radii of big and small wheels,
generally able to get the value between more than big wheel
radii and less than the summation of big and small wheels.
4. Joint group belt can not be taken apart to arrange in pairs,
for fear of damage due to different length and stress. If
necessory, first measure the outer circle of the belt, for
identical or close length of belt of joint group.
5. Belts of different framework materials, because of their
different elongating rates, be sure not to mix joint group
for using.
6. V-belts of different section types can not be used in a
same group. V-belts used in same group should have enough
bases to avoid overloading.
7. Old and new V-belts can not be used in the same group.
For the purpose of safety, first collect the old belts and
then distribute them to use according to length.
8. The specifications and size of belt wheel should all accord
with V-belt slot wheel standard of the Ministry of Machinery,
for fear of unseemliness of belt and wheel and for fear of
arousing forepart abrasion and break.
9. When storing and transporting V-belt, be sure to avoid
sunlight direct irradiation, heat, rain and snow, avoid touching
organic impregnant of oil, acid, alkali etc, keep cleaness,
prevent machanical damage, away from heat source (beyond one
meter)
10. Storing temperature is between -18¡æ-40¡æ; relevant humidity
is between 50-80%.
11. Avoid stress and deformation, be sure to suspend or evenly
place the belts.
